How do you Crown a King?

A King is considered crowned anytime we are able to put the book in the hands of a child, parent, or educator through purchases or donations. Our goal is to Crown a Million Kings by 2022. Why a Million? The number is symbolic of uniting Civil Rights Movements like the Million Man March and the Million Woman March.

This is a great book for young men and women of color. It is easy to read with great pictures to go along with the story. I love that it was about a common issue children face of bullying. It also deals with how most African Americans do not know their history due to the effects of slavery. It explained it in a way that children will understand and will leave them feeling confident in themselves. If you are looking for an empowering book for children, this is the one!

This book was a great. Great message & illustrations for our kids. Not only did it cover topics such as bullying, but also taught inner strength and having pride in who you are and where you come from. I really hope the authors create more stories with the main character (Kai) in the future. I highly recommend this book...especially to African American parents & children.

My grandson and I enjoyed reading this book so much he wanted to read it several times after receiving it. He kept repeating the statement "I Am Powerful. I Am Amazing. I Am King " I enjoyed how Kai was able to turn a negative into positive with the influencers he had along the way of his journey. This book is a must read.

You don’t want most of the images of black boys to be based on inaccurate negative stereotypes. Author

Anthony D Brice is a certified wellness professional, empowerment coach, writer, founder of the IMPOWER Group, and author of the #1 release, Poor Me to Soul Rich: Spiritual Currency for the Mind, Heart & Soul. His self-empowerment philosophy represents the foundation of personal growth and life mastery that has provided extraordinary results for people in the quality and fulfillment of their lives.

Anthony studied Psychology at the University of South Carolina and has spent over a decade researching self-help, personal growth, and success principles. Anthony’s passion for empowering people began with a vision he received at the age of 8 and he has been on that journey ever since.

Kristy High

Co Author

Kristy is the co-author of two children’s books about asthma and sickle cell disease. Her goal is to educate all
children (and parents) regarding their asthma, and the management of their asthma as well as sickle cell disease and the mental and social issues that often arise when living with this disease. The books have been highlighted throughout the Cincinnati area via our local news stations.

The asthma book was named the book of the year by the Allergy & Asthma Network. Kristy is passionate about Reading and Literacy, and enhancing the knowledge of patients and families, while “meeting them where they are” to assist in improving their quality of life.
